Hello
The only way to connect an external hard drive to your TV, is the first connection to your laptop to the TV and then use an external hard drive USB port on your laptop.
If you do not have a computer, then you should see a box with Media Player to save the disc if you so the drive can be formatted in FAT 32.

not sorry, you can not do. But now you can buy receivers that can be up to 100 grams of memory and store, and even save it on your TV and see that and if you want to post videos on your computer all u need is a USB port on your computer and cable
