Thermostat cable with no Green wire. Only R,W,Y and B. Please HELP? - guide to install honeywell thermostat rth2310 with 6 cables

I'll replace my old Honeywell thermostat (ha veil of mercury in it) RiteTemp digital thermostat. When I removed the old thermostat I noticed that the old thermostat is connected only red and white. However, the cable 4-thermostat son, red, yellow, white and blue! What does this mean? I have to say with the manual installation and Internet connection, that only a connection with Red to R, Yellow to Y, Green G, and so on. What is blue? Nothing is mentioned! What should I do with the blue wire? I was able to orient any information or help with R, W, Y, B Schematic combination. How do I connect the digital thermostat RiteTemp to existing cables.

I have no idea what type of heating system installed in the attic. For,Hing is, is that the hot gas.

Please advice. A million thanks.

A strong run thermostat wire panic over additional cable, which for various modeled allows the HVAC unit.
For example, different speed controls, springs of fresh air, etc.
U If you really want to be sure to contact a professional HVAC.

Well, if the old thermostat used only red and white, then close the red and white with the news. For peace of mind, you can climb into the attic and see if the son is blue and yellow, something is always connected, probably not.

Since you only have gas heating will occur only the red and white connection.

Here is a link to a website that explains the different colors.
